Privacy Policy
Last updated:
The short version: Pointer Paws collects nothing. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads, and no network requests.
What the extension stores
Pointer Paws saves only your own settings:
- which cat you picked,
- the cursor size,
- whether the extension is turned on.
These settings are kept with Chrome's built-in sync storage. They stay in your Chrome profile, and if you have Chrome sync turned on, Chrome syncs them to your other devices through your Google account. The developer cannot see them.
What the extension does on websites
Pointer Paws runs on the websites you visit only to change how the mouse cursor looks. It adds a small style rule to the page and removes it when you switch the extension off. It does not read page content, track the sites you visit, or make any network requests. All cursor images are included in the extension; nothing is downloaded, and no remote code is loaded.
What we never do
- We do not collect, store or transmit personal data or browsing history.
- We do not sell or share any data with anyone.
- We do not use data for advertising, credit or lending decisions.
This website
This website is a plain static page. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts and loads no third-party content. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and operations.
Removing your settings
Uninstalling Pointer Paws from Chrome removes its saved settings.
Children
Pointer Paws collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
